I'll tell you this:

Last night I dreamt I took a trip to Los Angeles.

Bought a ticket to Disneyland, which I needed to visit Barney's for the first time (because only in my dreams would the 'happiest place on earth' include Barney's or any department store). I subsequently ran into Angelica Huston while searching for the perfect signature fragrance. She was stunning, wore red lipstick and was completely engaging while taking me to THE scent, a fragrance custom blended with seltzer (!?!?!!). It was called OudOud or something like that.

I wish I could say I smoked/drank something interesting before bed, but really I'm thinking it's the 7-day stretch at work and the final day of a crazy, fun, BUSY event that caused it.

Glad it's nearly done!

I love many things about this photo spread: Claudia Schiffer, one of the original Supermodels of the 90's; a modern take on Frida; Karl Lagerfeld's dreamy, watercolor view.

Claudia captures so much in her pose - intensity, vulnerability, sensuality. Her gaze is as haunting as Frida's.

Frida's birthday would be today. She continues to inspire in so many ways and her importance as an artist and the impact of her work and her persona resonate in so many ways.
